/ FAQ
Can I start from a number other than 1?

Yes. The 'Start at' slider lets you begin from 0 to 20. Useful when your PDF is a chapter that follows pages in a longer document.

What number formats are available?

Three formats: '1, 2, 3' (plain number), 'Page 1, Page 2' (with label), and '1 / 10, 2 / 10' (with total page count).

Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?

No. Page numbers are added in your browser using pdf-lib. Your file never leaves your device.

Can I choose the font or colour?

Currently the tool uses Helvetica in mid-grey (35% black) which is readable without being distracting. Custom fonts and colours may be added in a future update.

Will this work on scanned PDFs?

Yes. The page number text is stamped as a PDF text layer on top of the scan, visible in all PDF readers.
