The first conversion is slow — why?
The video engine (ffmpeg.wasm, ~30 MB) downloads the first time and is then cached. Longer clips and higher FPS also take more time.
How do I keep the GIF small?
GIFs get big fast — keep the clip short (a few seconds), lower the FPS (10–15 is plenty) and reduce the width.
What quality can I expect?
We use a two-pass palette for clean colors, so GIFs look sharp for their size.
